In addition, certain sectors need specific equipment to communicate with their customers, in particular on their prices, often governed by specific regulations for the display of prices as for service stations.
Regulations in force for the display of fuel prices
The display of fuel prices is framed by certain regulations that should be followed.
The price display must be legible
According to article 2 of the decree of July 8, 1988 relating to the advertising of the selling prices of fuels: “The display, readable from the public highway, must allow a precise identification of each product and its price ( …). ”
Therefore, it is important to choose the right price display device in order to comply with the above regulations.
Fuel prices at motorway service stations must be displayed
According to article 3 of the decree of 8 July 1988 relating to the advertising of the selling prices of fuels: “The prices of fuels charged by motorway service stations must be subject to a pre- signage in the form of a panel placed between 500 and 1000 meters before the entrance to the area. ”
A fuel display is therefore a necessity for motorway service stations.
