Guide and informe visitors with iGirouette®

Today, new screen technologies allow us to set up ever more innovative projects: larger, connected, interactive! Finding solutions perfectly suited to the specificities of the place where we will install our screens is our main challenge.

Within the framework of the Futuroscope park, the needs to which we must meet are multiple: our screens must be readable for all because it is a general public park, easy to set up in order to be able to cover its entire area but also connected in real time in order to be able to follow the rhythm of the place.

The example of Futuroscope

The solution we have proposed to meet these needs is called iGirouette®! These are arrow-shaped signs mounted on a pole resembling the tourist information signs that can be found on a hike, for example.

Unlike these panels, iGirouette® is made up of dynamic double-sided screens that can be read remotely and are connected. Since June 2017, we have installed five iGirouette® at Futuroscope! Arranged in various strategic locations, they allow visitors to orient themselves more easily through the park.

The specificities of iGirouette®: dynamic and connected

This information relay disseminates essential information based on location, time of day and visitor flow through personalized messages and the integration of widgets to navigate in real time. For example, if you are heading for the Gyrotour or the Time Machine, iGirouette® will allow you both to know which direction you need to go but also what the wait time is for these attractions.

This new technology allows Futuroscope to become an smart leisure park and to regulate the movement of its many visitors without having to place reception staff at each crossing. In addition to facilitating flow management, iGirouette® offers its visitors a real digital experience that fits with the spirit of the place. Focused on technology and futurism, the Futuroscope had to find tools capable of combining practicality and aesthetics.
